Shantou Huaying Soft-Packing Equipment Plant Ltd., was founded in 1986, as the main supplier specialized in making complete sets of printing and coating equipment in China, is a hi-tech company that brings together research, development, production, sales and service. In 2011, Huaying became a Sino-Switzerland Joint Venture enterprise with the world's leading supplier of special coating equipment “POLYTYPE CONVERTING AG (Switzerland)”. Furthermore, Huaying established Coating Equipment Manufacturing Division which focus on R&D, production and sales of hi-tend special coating equipment.
Huaying always pay utmost attention to the technical innovation and development so as to set up a “Printing & Coating Engineering Technology R&D Center” which infrastructure is set forth as below: Mechanical Engineering Design & Manufacture Division, Industrial Control Automation Technological Division, and Macromolecule Chemistry Technological Division. Furthermore, Huaying has committed themselves on the national key projects for many years. Hence, Huaying has been certified as State High-tech Enterprise, Guangdong Printing & Coating Equipment Engineering Technology R&D Center, Guangdong Modern Industry Top 500. Also, Huaying has got the approval of ISO9001:2008 Quality-Management System and CE Certification.
Huaying established Guangdong engineer technology research and development centre, and successively completed 5 National Key New Product projects, 4 National Torch projects, 7 Provincial Key New Product, Innovative Product and High- tech Product projects, 20 Provincial Science and Research projects, owns 25 technical patents and 2 software patents; which also leading to draft 1 industrial standard and awards 10 advanced technical prizes.

In 1986, Huaying is registered and formly changed its name to "Shantou Huaying Soft-Packing Euipment Plant Ltd" from "Shantou Anping Electrical Machinery Factory".
In 1992, “Shantou Soft Packaging Machinery Research Laboratory” is founded, which is the 2nd Research Laboratory founded by private enterprise in China.
In 1996, the enterprise had been authorized as “Guangdong High-Tech enterprise”
In 1998, FTZ Golden & Silver Cardboard Lamination & Coating Machine is the first successfully developed Hi-Tech Optomechatronics Equipment in China,
In 1999, Establish “Shantou Printing & Coating Equipment Research & Development Center” with Shantou University and Shantou Light Industrial Equipment Research Institute.
In 2000, Cooperates with Guangdong Industrial University, Design project of “water-base ink printing & coating research”, greatly improve water-base printing technology in China.
In 2001, Design of GF Industrial Computer Control Dry Lamination machine is completed and launch its production, which also be authorized by Guangdong Science & Technical Agency. Here’s comment from agency.
In 2002, FJ-1250BII Computer Control Inspector & Rewinder is authorized as “Guangdong International Cooperation Project”, which also rewards “Guangdong Advanced Technology 3rd Prize in 2004” and “Shantou Advanced Technology 2nd Prize”.
In 2004, the enterprise was certified by ISO9001:2000. Invite engineer from Japan FUJI as Technical Consultant, to optimize production technology, construction design and normalize them.
In 2005, “DY”, the registered trade mark of the company had been authorized as “Guangdong Famous Trademark”
In 2006, "Guangdong Printing & Coating Equipment Technology Research & Development Centre" is started to be established.
In 2007, the enterprise built up the Guangdong Printing/Coating Equipment Technology R&D Centre,the enterprise was certified by CE
In 2008, the enterprise had been authorized as “State High-Tech enterprise”.
In 2009, Project “Industrialization Technology and Equipment of Energy-saving & Exhaust-reduction of Printing & Coating Lines” is authorized as Major Technology Research Project of Guangdong.
In 2011 As Share Transfer Agreement and also cooperation agreement includes investment, technology, brand, etc. are formally signed between Huaying and Polytype, Huaying is successfully turning to Sino-Foreign Investment Enterprise
In 2012, the enterprise was authorized as “Key Hi-tech Enterprise for National Torch Plan”,the enterprise had been authorized as “First batch of key innovative high growth small and medium-sized enterprise of Guangdong”
In 2015, the enterprise had been authorized as “State High-Tech enterprise”
With excellent technology and stable performance, the flexible packaging equipment manufactured by Shantou Huaying, have been sold well to more than 20 provinces and cities in China, and also exported to other areas like Canada, Russia, Turkey, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong & Taiwan. Energy Saving and Emission-Reduction Technology:
As the early enterprise which concerns on energy-saving and exhaust-reduce of regarding equipment, Huaying had already started research and applied in these fields since 2009. With our own simulation system, we already achieved the scientific research such as the rotogravure printing machine(drying chamber) can save 60% energy and reduce 26%~27.9% waste gas exhausting ,our laminating and coating equipment( drying chamber) can save 42%-65% heat energy, which will reduce more than 15% invest cost of the VOCs reducing etc.
